What is your blood composed of?

Red Blood Cells – This component gives your blood the red color. It helps carry oxygen to the tissues.

White Blood Cells – This component helps fight infection.

Platelets – tiny cells that are essential for normal blood clotting and aids in wound healing.

What is in this PRP Therapy?

As the name suggests, this is a composition of your blood which has high concentration of platelets. Therefore, high concentration of healing factors and growth factors. The high concentration of this blood component aids in faster healing process.

How do you produce PRP?

Blood needs to be drawn from the patient, same donor and recipient avoids rejection of therapy.

After the blood has been drawn, it is then transferred into a system where it gets centrifuged so that blood components are separated. The combination of platelets and plasma is the PRP.
